Can I add pictures to my Story?
Yes! In our editor, adding images to your story is a breeze! With images in stories, you can enhance your content and make it more visually engaging.
Note: Currently, images in stories are only available on the website. Keep an eye out here for when it reaches the app release!
How do I add pictures to my story?
When you access the editor on the web, you'll notice the "add image" button.
This button features the same icon used throughout the site, like on the profile page. Look for the familiar image icon to get started.
To add an image:
- Click the location within your story where you want the image to appear – for example, between two paragraphs. The image will be inserted at the spot where your cursor is placed.
- After selecting the "add image" button, a finder popup will appear. This popup serves as a convenient tool to help you locate and add the image you want to include in your story.
- Within the finder popup, browse your computer or device to find the desired image you wish to include in your story.
- Once you've chosen the image, click on the "open" option within the finder popup. This action will add the image to your story, centered precisely where you had placed your cursor earlier.
In certain cases, an image may be too large for optimal display. If this happens, a helpful popup will appear to notify you about the minimum and maximum size the image should be. Please adjust the image's dimensions accordingly to ensure it fits perfectly within your story. Many Inkitt users use free resources like www.canva.com to resize their images!
How do I remove a picture from my story?
