We’ve optimized web and added analytics to the Inkitt app to make checking your story and account stats fast, smooth, and easy so you can focus on what matters most: your writing.
How to Access:
- On Web:
- Go to http://www.inkitt.com/analytics or tap Analytics under the dropdown from your Profile Picture
- Choose the story you want to view Analytics for
- Explore your personal analytics dashboard
- In the Inkitt App:
Access the same analytics experience directly within the app from the Write tab—no extra steps needed!
From there, you can dive into everything from how many people are reading, to when you last published, to where your audience is tuning in from.
🔒 Privacy First
To protect reader privacy and ensure meaningful insights, some data is only available once you hit certain milestones:
- Story-Level Data: Your story must reach enough reads for us to analyze the behavior. This can vary from story to story.
- Account-Level Data: Your author profile must have at least 100 followers.
If your data isn't ready yet, you’ll see a blurred chart with a message that we don’t have enough data right now.

📝 Total Words Published
- What it Shows: How many words you’ve published.
- Why it Matters: Shows how much of your story is out in the world.
📅 Last Published
- What it Shows: The date your most recent chapter went live.
- Why it Matters: Regular publishing keeps your readers coming back.
📆 Published Schedule
- What it Shows: How many chapters you published on specific days.
- Pro Tip: Steady publishing = stronger reader engagement.
📚 Total Reading Lists
- What it Shows: How many times your story has been added to readers’ personal lists.

- What it Shows: All the likes your story has received.
😀 Chapter Reactions Total
- What it Shows: Total emoji reactions across your chapters, including Paragraph reactions.

- What it Shows: Every time someone starts or continues your story. They are not unique readers, so for example, one person could represent 10 reads.

- What it Shows: Your most engaged fans (based on reactions, reviews, etc.).
🆕 New Followers
- What it Shows: Recently joined fans—updated every 30 days.
📊 Monthly Word Count
- What it Shows: How many words you’ve published month-by-month.
⏰ Most Active Time of Day
- What it Shows: When your readers are most active by time and day. This is in UTC timezone. This metric requires that you have at least 100 followers.
📆 Most Active Day of the Week
- What it Shows: Percentage of weekly reads by day. This metric requires that you have at least 100 followers.
💬 Wall Interactions
- What it Shows: Comments, likes, and replies on your wall, stories, and reviews that you’ve posted over time.

Q: Can I access this on the app too?
A: Yes! The analytics section is available on both the app and mobile web.

A: These unlock once your account has enough followers. This helps protect reader privacy.
