📚 Narrative November: Inkitt’s Writing & Reading Challenge (Nov 1 – Dec 1)

Celebrate creativity and community this November with Inkitt’s Narrative November!

Whether you’re a reader, writer, or both, you can join in, earn exclusive achievement badges, and even win special prizes.

🗓️ Event Duration

Start: November 1
End: December 1
(Accounting for time zone differences — achievements close automatically at the end of the day on December 1.)

🏆 How It Works

✍️ For Writers

• Write 50,000 words between Nov 1 and Dec 1 to earn the “Narrative November Writer” badge.
• Completed books (marked “Complete” by Dec 1) with over 50,000 words written during the event period will qualify for feature on the Narrative November Shelf. More details below.
  • Only one book per author will be featured — the one they contributed the most words to during the event.

📖 For Readers

• Read 100 chapters between Nov 1 and Dec 1 to earn the “Narrative November Reader” badge.

🎁 Prize Draw: Win an Inkitt Swag Box!

At the end of the event, Inkitt will randomly draw 15 winners from participants worldwide:

• 5 Writers (who earned the Writer badge)
• 5 Readers (who earned the Reader badge)
• 5 All-Stars (who earned both badges)

Winners will receive an exclusive Inkitt Swag Box!
🕐 Winners have 1 week to claim their prize before a new participant is selected.

🌟 Author Feature Shelf: “Narrative November”

Authors who:

1. Have completed a book by Dec 1, and
2. Have written over 50,000 words toward the achievement

will be eligible for featuring on the Narrative November Shelf on Inkitt.

Each selected author will have one book featured, chosen based on the title they contributed to the most during the event.

To be featured on the shelves, books need to be:
1. Approved by our Content Guidelines Team
2. Have at least 10k total words
3. Written in English, Spanish, French or German
