What should I report?
Please directly report any stories that you believe are plagiarized by using the report function or emailing us at support@inkitt.com. Our team will directly contact all parties involved and investigate.
Please be sure to provide a link to the story on Inkitt, a link to the story on another platform, and let us know which is the original.
If a story on Inkitt is plagiarized from elsewhere, we will be sure to remove the work. If work from Inkitt is found to be plagiarized on other platforms, we will be sure to help provide you with resources to help protect your work.
What should I not report?
FanFiction stories are permissible on Inkitt as long as they are correctly labeled as such. If you believe a popular story has been copied, please verify that the story has not first been designated as FanFiction.
All FanFiction stories will show "Based on _" as shown in the image below. If you are still not sure if a story is being plagiarized, please report it to us immediately.
