What If I See Plagiarism?

What should I report?

 Please directly report any stories that you believe are plagiarized by using the report function or emailing us at [e-mail]. Our team will directly contact all parties involved and investigate.

What should I not report?

 FanFiction stories are permissible on Inkitt as long as they are correctly labeled as such. If you believe a popular story has been copied, please verify that the story has not first been designated as FanFiction.  

All FanFiction stories will show "Based on _" as shown in the image below. If you are still not sure if a story is being plagiarized, please report it to us immediately.
